An impressive old world hotel that has been well modernised, extremely well looked after. Service was faultless as was the cleanliness. Excellent breakfast with beautiful seafront views. We did use the spa however it is a victim of its own success, far too busy, which led to some cleanliness issues. We decided not to use these facilities for the rest of our 4 night stay. The hotel itself we would highly recommend.

I stayed for three nights over a valentines weekend. It was nice enough but not what I expected for the price at nearly £200 per night with breakfast. The breakfast was nice, though limited in choice compared to other similar hotels I’ve stayed in. The hotel itself was clean and well decorated. Our room was small and felt very basic, quite dark with poor lighting and limited toiletries in the bathroom. The pool was smaller than I expected and very shallow, which would be good for children. The sauna, spa and steam room were good. Overall it was ok, and we had a nice weekend, but I’m not sure it was great value for money.
