"We stayed at the Sea View room - the staff were lovely and service was good. However, the room itself really needs a face lift - the paint is flaking off all over the windows and some part of the ceiling, the carpet is old and fraying at the junction where it meets the wood floor and the towel rain in the bathroom is loose. Don’t get me wring, the room itself was clean, but it felt a bit unloved. Considering this was one of the more expensive rooms with twin tubs, I would have expected it to be...

"Staff were lovely at reception despite having an overwhelming number of people checking in at the same time. The hotel was comfortable and we had a great night sleep. The hotel is a little tired and does need a little attention. We had a superior room which had an amazing view of the beach. Spa facilities were lovely, highly recommend using this. Would stay again "

"Short break for New Year celebrations. Hotel is lovely and modern. The breakfast in the morning was decent enough, although some of the hot items were slightly cold. One slightly confusing thing was the parking. We parked at the train station. Paid via the online app but that expired at 04.00 in the morning, leaving us in a bit of a panic in the morning trying to work out how to extend parking! Overall, would stay here again."

"Had an excellent stay at this property. Lovely welcome when we arrived from the owner. Polite and Friendly waitress at breakfast time. Room was a lovely size . We stayed in the sea view room with balcony. Lovely clean bathroom and a comfy bed with comfy pillows. Added bonus was free onsite parking. Perfect location Will definitely be staying here again Thank you room with a view "

"The property was clean, tidy and in a great location! You could walk into the main town by the shopping centre within 15 minutes and you were about 5 minutes from the Brighton Pier. I would recommend this stay to anyone who would like a relaxed weekend away in Brighton."

"Friendly and amazing staff. I was able to check in early for a wedding I was attending. The location is great (very, VERY close to North Laine which is great for shopping and food/drinks). Room was clean, had air con and the bed was comfy!"
