Manager (with broken leg) was so helpful - are the breakfast staff were the best team ever - so amazing helpful and so cheerful - never had service like that for a long time - and a big shout out to the very lovely omelet lady. "The best thing about this hotel is the location in that you are literally across the road from the BP Arena if that is your purpose for visiting! The parking was easy (we used the multi storey which is only £10 for 24hours if you validate your ticket at hotel reception) It is located within the shopping centre but rooms are up high so no noise or disturbance. Everywhere is very clean and rooms are big and have everything you need (although everywhere looks a bit dated it’s not really a problem...

"Booked for 2 nights, first visit too Birmingham so was excited to see as much as possible. Check in was fine, paid for parking in the Britannia car park. Had to pay a hotel deposit on booking in. Had a superior room on the 15th floor, greeted by a birthday card and small bottle of Prosecco and a couple of chocolates which was a lovely surprise. Room was spacious and the bed very very comfortable, bath & shower was an added bonus. Carpet very worn and could do with replacing soon. Complimentary...

"Decent place overall - clean rooms, nice modern shower room, user-adjustable heating (not usually found in cheaper hotels) and a nice big tv! The only let down is the one working lift; the lift seems to stop at various floors in random order regardless of who has pressed the button and when. There was a point where the lift had stopped at every other floor 12 or 13 times before it reached ground floor and it shakes so much that it’s really quite unpleasant. This is probably less of a problem if...
