"The reviews are a little mixed for this hotel, but thought to still give it a go. Yes it's a little older hotel, not a brand new development. However the building and grounds are well maintained and inside is clean and tidy. Polite welcome on reception and the room was comfy, clean and tidy. Well appointed bathroom and good shower pressure. Couldn't really asked for anything else and will return if in the area on business. Cannot comment on food as didn't eat there "

"We were given an Amazing room on the 21st floor, breakfast was excellent, spa area and pool very clean. It. Was my husband birthday and we were given a chocolate cake in the room . "

"It's what you'd expect from a Hilton - a very pleasant, clean, comfortable, spacious room with a huge bed in a nice hotel. We enjoyed using the pool and spa and the buffet breakfast was the perfect start to a busy day. Blackout blinds and good sound proofing meant that we slept well. The area's quiet and nothing to get excited about, but super convenient for the NEC, which is why we stayed there. We really appreciated the view of the lake. Extras like parking and drinks in the bar are expensive, though."

"When I got to my room which was quite far down the corridor my room key didn’t work so I had to go back to reception. The guy apologised & offered me a free upgraded room that wasn’t such a trek to get to which was very much appreciated "
