"The front desk staff were pleasant and helpful. The doormen/concierge were also friendly and helpful, especially Miguel. The restaurant seemed understaffed but the food was delicious. The room was great and the location can't be beat. I would definitely recommend Hotel Rumbao and if I'm ever in San Juan again I would gladly stay here!"

"Please improve the signage. There are no signs to guide you to your Tower if you drive. (Outside signs). Same for breakfast. No signs on the food. You have to lift every lid and guess what juice it is. Nice stay otherwise. "

"The property and the staff were excellent. The beach was excellent. I just had a problem with the food it was hit or miss kind of thing. The Zen, steak house and the amercian restaurants were great. The others weren't good. The buffets were hit and miss. But they do change it up at dinner time with different menus. Plus if you stay at the riu bavaro you can visit there other hotels on the property's. And eat and drink. So overall its a great place to go "

"Pool and outside dining area is awesome. Most of the staff is very friendly, but I did experience a couple of rude and "judgy" staff members. Overall experience was great, would definitely recommend."

"Decent enough hotel, great breakfast buffet choices but let down by regular housekeeping glitches such as forgetting to leave drinking water and teas/coffees 50% of the time, changing robes unnecessarily. Adequate English language channels (for both news and films). Good use of reusable glass bottles for drinking water."
