"The property was definitely unique and beautiful. Service was very good if you leave small tips every day. We ran out of cash one day and the bed was not quite made up)). Quite nice breakfast but not too special. Beautiful swimming pool with a bit of insects now and then. Kitchen counters were not cleaned well enough on arrival. "This is a one of a kind hotel, that is landscaped and attended to in an impeccable fashion. The food choices and quality were amazing—numerous GF etc options that were clearly labelled. Truly one of the best resorts we have ever stayed at and I highly recommend it. Only minor gripes are that there are add on costs for a # of the yoga classes. Also it is a VERY hilly property so be prepared."

"It's a quaint property and has a great feel to it. It kind of grows on you. Don't go with an expectation that it's a 3 star hotel (as Google Shows) and you will enjoy. The restaurant at the hotel serves amazing food. The breakfast was incredible but expensive. But so is food everywhere around in the area. The beach is beautiful and secluded. It's a woman owned business and the owner is lovely. We enjoyed our time and would stay again if we go back to Costa Rica."

"We had a great ten night stay at Tamarindo Bay Hotel. Marie and the staff were great and added a wonderful personal touch to every single day.
