"What a wonderful hotel! I can’t imagine a better place for our family to spend a week. We loved the views from the restaurants and pools, and especially from our room (gorgeous vistas over the jungle and monkeys swinging in a tree just off our balcony.) Our room was beautiful and so comfortable and well appointed. Staff is amazing. We enjoyed the beach below the hotel, the jungle walk, the yoga studio and the bird walk. We also drove to area beaches and restaurants- but were always happy to return to our oasis on the hilltop! I would return in a heartbeat. "

"I just returned from my second visit to Sendero, and it truly feels like home. The design of the hotel is stunning, and the staff is absolutely exceptional. They take the time to get to know you, remember you, and make you feel like part of the family. The restaurant is a standout, offering the most delicious menu I've ever had the pleasure of enjoying. The pool is a serene retreat, the perfect spot to unwind with a good book after a day of surfing. The yoga and surf instructors, especially Lauren and Rodrigo, have made each of my visits unforgettable. I can't recommend Sendero enough – it's an experience that I will continue to cherish and share with others."

"My family has a great stay in Casa Delfin. The villa is in a great location, close to the beach and restaurants. The villa consists of 3 separate buildings. We loved that it had a path directly from the villa to the beach. The backyard is a lush and peaceful garden and we spent a lot of time there. The kitchen is a little worn out and not super clean so we didn’t really use it. The property manager has a concierge but we found them to be fairly unresponsive in the time leading up to our stay. Overall the property could use a little bit of an update but we still enjoyed our stay! "

"Our stay was full of fun and surprises. Hanging out in the big outdoor living space and pool was nice in the warm weather or the rain. It was a short walk to the beach where the waves were great for all ages whether jumping the waves, boogie boarding or surfing. The beautiful sunsets were fun to catch before dinner. Dinner now that was the big treat. We had Siani and her daughter cook for all of us 3 delicious traditional Costa Rican dinners. Plus, the Pico and guacamole, yum we could not get enough of it. She is available on request. It was fun exploring Nosara especially by horse back. We found the area on the other side of the point was a good place to have an authentic lunch and a beer. Some had a blast ziplining even with little children, 7 and up. Loved the Hollar Monkeys... You will just have to come explore for yourself. We cannot go without sharing a fun surprise we cancelled the expensive holiday rental cars for the local shuttle through Craig for airport transport and local transport. The drivers were always early and flexible if we needed to stop for lunch. We loved all riding together over hill and dale unconcerned with navigation. Other than that, be sure to take out the garbage at night. There are racoons that would love to help themselves.
