"This place was an absolute dream for me and my friends, and would recommend it for any group. The property has endless gold star benefits, my favorite being the huge yard. "This was one of our favourite places in all of Costa Rica to stay and I can't recommend it enough. Coltin is a fabulous host who is very responsive and knowledgeable about the local area but also keeps your privacy. The house is stunning and has the best views for sunset and relaxing and it's super convenient for going anywhere in town when you actually can leave the property though it's hard to do! "We had to leave a day early. There was construction going on next to us which we were not told about ahead of time. They are building more bungalows. Between the open netting at the ceiling and windows without curtains, it was noisy and we had no privacy. In addition we waited 15 minutes and didn’t get hot water for the shower the last two mornings we were there. The beach was not walking distance as advertised. "Overall a great stay. Excellent location with all amenities super close by. Easy parking included and a nice pool area. Rooms were very quiet with a very safe feel. There are no amenities with the room, but if you are looking for a room and quiet pool area it is perfect. I liked being off of the main beach yet close to it. Would recommend if you are not looking for a full service resort. We would stay again! "

"Residencias Samara is an oasis within the oasis of Samara. From the friendly staff to the comfortable rooms, Residencias Samara was the perfect homebase for the Samara leg of our honeymoon. We found it to be wonderfully relaxing and well situated within town and close to the beach. We spent a significant portion of our time enjoying the pool when not at the beach or the great restaurants nearby. We would definitely pick Residencias Samara again on a return trip in the future. "

"Everything was top notch from check in to check out. Brand new property with Zen design and quiet. Bed and shower super comfortable with strong yet quiet AC. Kitchen is the best in Nosara thanks to a top chef. Service across the board from landscaping to serving to management are committed professionals. So rare, so nice. It's up in the hills away from noise but within easy reach to the beach thanks to the shuttle. "

"We loved our stay here and felt the other reviews we read prior to arriving were pretty accurate! The property is beautiful and well maintained. The staff was exceptional and the service, while at times longer, was also high-quality. This resort doesn’t necessarily stay open very late and is for someone looking for a more laidback atmosphere. The food and cocktails were without question the best we’ve had at an all-inclusive. We were well-pleased and enjoyed every meal. The nearby town, Samara, is also a quick cab ride or a 30-40 minute walk by beach for a change of scenery. Overall, we loved our stay here, will recommend it to those we know, and hope to return someday!"
