"This was such a lovely hotel. All the rooms overlook the pool and the beach/sunset. It's up on a steep hill so the views are nice, but definitely not easy to walk to and from the beach. Fortunately, they have a shuttle, but we rented a car. The rooms, however, leave much to be desired. They are sparsely decorated with minimal furniture, which was disappointing considering how beautiful the downstairs lobby was."

"This was a lovely well kept hotel on the outskirts of Tamarindo. The property is beautiful and right on a gorgeous beach, but with a shaded area with beach chairs. The hotel staff is especially friendly, the beach area is also staffed. The room was spacious and clean, with a fridge, stovetop and microwave. Breakfast is delivered to your room, which has a patio so you can eat inside or out. Bathroom huge and very clean. Highly recommend! "

"This is probably one of my favorite hotels of all time the people and the food are incredible. The location is nothing short of perfect. The beds in the rooms are honestly not very comfortable, but being beachfront is nice. I’ve stayed at this hotel on multiple occasions over the years. It’s always a go to option. I would recommend the property update most of the mattresses in the rooms as the four rooms I have stayed in did not have very good beds"
