"There was a lot of construction going on so it was kind of hard to walk on the street in front but I think they were headed towards being finished and had laid down gravel a few days before we left which was nice. Really great location, next to the weekend farmer's market, close to an excellent bakery Breaking Bread, and pretty easy walk through town to get to the beach. "I needed a room just for one night before I left Costa Rica the next morning and the lady at the front desk was super helpful and very friendly. They have security there until midnight I’m pretty sure which is nice . It’s also right infront of the beach so the view is amazing , they have a pool as well that I didn’t get to check out because I had to leave and free breakfast at another really nice hotel less than a block down. If I came back to tamarindo I would definitely consider staying here...

Juan Carlos is very friendly and definitely helpful. Going during rainy season was really great too because it was never crowded anywhere we went."
