"Had a lovely staff at Refugio Lodge, all the staff I met was friendly and welcoming. Pool was nice and refreshing after a day of being out. Refugio is ideally located in the heart of Tama so location was perfect for both beach and nightlife. Breakfast being included was great as this town could be as expensive as NY price-wise, yes New York. Agustin was helpful and always easy to reach via WhatsApp. Thank you to everyone at Refugio for making my stay great."

"We stayed in there BOHO Tamarindo for 5 nights. We loved the staff including Sniler, Edward, Juan and Gilbert. It is a simple place with 8 basic rooms and house. Has a small pool and some shared living space. It is in great location for walking to Tamarindo. You have access to Langosta Beach Club included. Worst part is that there is construction going on in the lots surrounding the property."

We would stay here again if we happen to visit the Guacanaste region sometime in the future and if you happen to stay at this facility, make sure you visit Playa Penca, it’s beautiful "

"Very nice hosts. Pool is nice and clean. Room was clean and cozy. We enjoyed seeing the howler monkeys in the trees. Walking distance to restaurants and bars. Tamarindo is very busy, loud and a party atmosphere. Beaches could be cleaner. Great place to learn to surf or watch surfing. "

"The house and pool at Villa Futaga are absolutely beautiful. Well maintained with incredible ocean, island and sunset views. This is a private and secure oasis for your Coastal Rican adventures.However, he highlight of our visit was the service. "The staff is amazing. Everyone was so friendly and eager to assist with anytbing we needed. We did not have any trouble gettimg seated at any of the restaurants and we tried out everyone of them. All were great. The different night events were very fun and the beach was so nice, never crowded and we were always able to get lounge chairs for our whole group. We will definitely be returning to the RIU Guanacosta"

"A very peaceful place to stay near the Liberia airport for a good price. The air conditioning worked very well and the front staff even adjusted check out for us to check out early and organized a taxi to be waiting for us as we left. We also felt very safe inside the hotel and the dinner was very well priced with extremely large portions."

Unwind from your long flight.

"We stayed at this hotel between landing in Liberia Airport and traveling to Tamarindo nearby. It was a great, relaxing and cleanly place to stay during our trip. The restaurant on site was good and had friendly service. There’s not much in the surrounding area reachable on foot in terms of other food or groceries but for the one night that wasn’t a problem."

"Karaoke wasn't available one night that my group walked into Dj room. A Dj man said no karaoke. However, couple later; there were karaoke playing for other group. Confuse us? And disapoointed."

"Randall helped us so much from when we got there until we departed with excursions transportation everyone was so friendly and very helpful. I highly recommend to go take a tour also with Samuel driver and tour guide with Daniel with Costa Rica unique tours. Oh and the views and drinks are amazing!! Pura Vida "
