"The place itself was great. Incredibly relaxing! Breakfast in the porch was so nice! Stay went totally smooth. I wouldn't consider it walkable due to lack of sidewalks. But for those people who are looking to relax and sightsee, I actually think the location is better than in the heart of downtown. It's both close to everything and also "out of the way". "

"I stayed at Aaron's cottage for two nights and it was a great experience. The cottage was cozy, equipped with all the amenities you could need. It had AC, fans, hot water, a comfortable bed, a kitchenette and full bathroom. The place is easy to find and there is a nice beach within walking distance. The place is ideal for staying in the Hilo area or for day trips to Volcanoes National Park, or drive to the top of Mauna Kea (4WD required). Several great local restaurants as well as supermarkets...

"We spent 2 nights at Hilo in this cute rental. It had a fridge microwave and coffee maker but cannot cook a meal in this unit as does not have a kitchen. We were aware of this and we were not planning to cook.This unit is modern and clean and quiet. The town of Hilo seems to have a lot of rundown areas and homelessness. That said we loved the Farmers market and waterfalls. The weather was sunny and beautiful. This rental was nice and the neighborhood felt safe."

"I stayed 6 nights in the penthouse. Such incredible views, the lanai & pool were my fave places to enjoy on property. Swimming with turtles at Carlsmith & Richardson were highlights. "We were very Comfortable and would stay again! Appreciate white linens as it adds to feeling of being clean. Comfortable bed. A/C was a nice perk! Unit was ground level so easy to get baggage in and out. Designated parking spot. House Close to road but never noticed car noise. Did hear foot noise over head but wouldn’t deter from staying again. The local market, KTA, was great!!"
