"What an amazing stay. We appreciated the warm welcome we received when we arrived at the cottage and were pleasantly surprised by the homemade muffins waiting for us on the kitchen table. We had everything we could have needed during our stay and we especially loved relaxing on the hanging bed on the lanai after a day of exploring. The views were amazing and it was so peaceful and relaxing. We would definitely recommend the Pineapple Cottage to anyone!!"

"Put this review off for awhile intending to dismiss it but was reminded again so here goes. Large home in convenient location, with all the necessities. Just a few things that would be better is if screens/windows were repaired or replaced so they can be opened to allow airflow and less use of a/c. Especially in the upstairs bathroom. We couldn’t figure out where the outside stairs light was, which would have been helpful as it was quite dark when getting back at night. Felt a little sheepish...

"I was super excited to stay at this property. The pluses...the Koy pond. The fish are amazing and love to eat. Also, the sounds at night from nature. Would have been nice to have a lounger in the sun room rather than just chairs. Not many other pluses. We tried to get connected to Internet. The welcome book didn't seem to match the house. The descriptions were off. There were at least 5 remotes but none of them did anything. Only one turned off and on the TV. TV was activated through Roku....

"We loved this little hidden cottage! It’s up away from Hilo town but close enough for shopping and restaurants. The cottage is set back from the main house so it’s very private. The garden is beautiful, serene & tropical. The decor is like a hotel cottage and the owner added touches to create an inviting stay. We’d stay again! "
