"Indian restaurant closed which was disappointing as this was a determining factor in my decision to stay. Explanation being ‘they’re doing something in the kitchen’ but not communicated at any point in the booking process. Also never mentioned gym or pool during check in so maybe that was closed too..."

"I recently stayed at this hotel for 9 nights during a business trip to London. Having stayed here several years ago, I noticed that while a few things had changed, it wasn’t too bad. The reception and other staff are still incredibly helpful and accommodating, which made my stay pleasant. The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of options, though it seems more catered to short-term guests, which is understandable for an airport hotel. However, it would be nice if they varied the menu more...

"Arrived for a 2 night stay to be told our second night was cancelled due to government take over of the hotel. No call/email warning us of this so we arrived with two tired children and couldn’t then check into our room for three hours whilst I called hotels.com to try and sort it out. Hotel staff were useless and wouldn’t even make eye contact or offer help. Ended up ringing the USA for hours as hotels.com don’t have a UK switchboard. Abysmal service"

"The bathroom was very disappointing. The marble tops are damaged and look dirty, the fabric shower curtain does not work well."

"Convenient to the airport"

"Pretty standard stay for a Holiday Inn. Thought I’d leave a review though as the windows are not well glazed and due to the location can experience a lot of noise from the road below. I wouldn’t return based on this as I do like my quiet for sleep."
