"Great ryokan, but when I tried out one of the private onsens there were many tiles missing from the wall and there was an unpleasant smell. The public onsen (men’s) was lovely and everything was in good condition, so the quality of the private onsen seemed limited to that one spot. There are 4 other private onsens I did not try out.
