"Lovely room although a little conscious of walking around too much as the floor really creaks in places and I j own how annoying it is when you are the person staying below. A broken window has been poorly fixed with wood leaving a gap of around 7mm at the bottom. Had asked for a quiet room which it is until the birds start singing at 5 am."

"What a wonderful and charming hotel! A perfect location and we had a great view of the Abbey from our room (room 2). There is noise from traffic outside as the hotel is on a main road but this is reflected in the excellent price and didn’t bother us at all. Parking is free which is a great perk when visiting a city and the staff are so courteous and efficient. The breakfast is super tasty and made from local produce. "Very nice hotel/pub to stay in with onsite parking. A very good choice for breakfast with good quality food Comfortable bed, good working shower and nice quality bathroom products. Quiet place to stay. WiFi not the best as it’s corporate and they want lots of your data! "

"The location was great and perfect for our needs. The bedroom was large and in good condition. However, the bed and pillows were far too hard for us and the room was extremely hot. We did try to turn the heating down but this didn't seem possible. The food in the restaurant dinner and breakfast, was average. However, all of the staff were friendly."

"A warm welcome from the Reception lady, who quickly got me checked in and was very helpful. Comfortable room, plenty of space and room for hanging clothes up. Nice restaurant with lots of food and drink options, the waiting staff were friendly and efficient. Nice walks from the door."
