"We stayed in the cabin Splash Happy on the Creek for my 50th birthday. Everything about this cabin is amazing!! Incredibly clean, well maintained, beautifully decorated and fully stocked with all of your basic needs. The location is perfect, 15 minutes to downtown Gatlinburg. So very peaceful and quiet, I don’t want to leave! We will definitely return. "

"For this particular occasion, I wanted the setting to be somewhat rustic and Forrest Hills was the perfect environment. The exterior of the buildings needs some facelift, but we were pleasantly surprised by the conditions of the rooms that looked like they had been recently renovated. Staff was very accommodating and pleasant food at the Hideaway restaurant was excellent along with the service."

"Overall a great location and most staff were excellent and welcoming. We were not able to access our room until the posted time but could drop off our luggage at the front desk. Not happy about all the extra fees and still trying to resolve the pricing. We loved the restaurants in the hotel with extra incentives to dine there. "Service and restaurants were top notch. Beautiful grounds kept in excellent condition. In some respects , service / cover charge for everything was a bit much . Umbrella cost for the beach I felt should not have a separate charge of$32.00 !! So in some cases , excessive costs , were a bit much "
