"Like every other time I have stayed at a Hampton Inn, this one was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The free hotel breakfast was nothing to get excited about, but most free hotel breakfasts aren’t, so I wasn’t really bothered by that. The only hitch in my stay was the fact that I apparently got checked in before I even arrived, so I had to wait in the lobby while they went to my room to make sure there wasn’t someone else in it. "We were there for our 50th wedding anniversary with our family. We had 4 rooms which were nice. There were lots of Christmas activities going on. Our dinner at the West Baden resort was wonderful. Both hotels are very nice, but I would recommend the French Lick Hotel if you have kids along."

"Very nice accommodations and pleasant staff. The only thing that we had a problem with was that the room that we stayed in (the Tulip room) the door would not lock. We felt safe enough, and we didn't have any valuables so it was fine for our situation, but for others, I'm sure having a door that locked would make them feel more safe and secure. "
