"The hotel is a bit old. It's great if you're looking to stay in a property with a historical aspect. Check-in was troubling. I don't recall on the Hotel's description here on Expedia or on their own website that the deposit was $400 up front. I stayed for 6 days so that should have been around $170. Everyone from Jeffry and Amish at the front desk to Stephen in the cocktail bar to the housekeeping staff went above and beyond to make our stay a great one. "We stayed here because we attended a NYE event at The Mint across the street. The location was perfect. We enjoyed a great dinner at Soma Restaurant, good food and quick service. In the morning we walked to two great restaurants for breakfast (MO’z Cafe and Zevi) and felt completely safe. The hotel is old and the room was small but had everything we needed including an in room mini fridge. We had a problem with the toilet flushing but my husband was able to fix it lol. "
