"I really enjoyed staying at Mama Shelter. I was traveling solo and it was fun to be in the lobby and restaurant with all the other people. The hotel room was quiet even though I was on the street side. I loved the location. There's a bus stop across the street. Wonderful market on the weekend within easy walking distance (Broadway Market) and a beautiful park nearby with animals and a restaurant, Hackney Park."

"I booked the room with no window, in the picture there was a fold down small desk/shelf. There was not one in the room. There was 1 small bed side table one side of the double bed as the other side of the bed was pushed up flush against the wall. Absolutely fine for single occupancy but I feel the room would be too small if there was two of us. The room was clean, bed was comfy and warm and the showere was nice and powerful. Thecprice was very reasonable compared to the other hotels in the area. The hotel staff were welcoming and friendly. As it was only me in the room I had a very pleasant stay. I would definately use again."

"Great place to stay. Right next to brick lane. Easy access to transport. Many different breakfast options. Only negative was the lighting near a mirror for doing make up. "
