"Mama shelter is a very cool place to stay, right in the middle of Shoreditch. Rooms are clean and comfortable with everything you need. Only thing to flag is the noise. There is a bar/club on the ground floor and the music can be heard in the rooms on the 1st floor until midnight…. So if you’re looking to sleep, ask for a room higher up. The hotel is also on a main road with traffic 24/7 so if you’re a light sleeper, ear plugs are recommended. We needed up changing rooms late in the evening...

"We travelled through 4 countries in Europe in 2.5 weeks and the Travelodge was by far the worst experience. The bathroom was ok no visible hair, didn’t feel comfortable walking barefoot though, towels had stains, basically water filled in soap dispensers in the shower and to wash hands.
