"Hotel was spotless. Staff was helpful and friendly. The public bath was awesome. 1 thing we liked was, on the TV, there is notification of how busy the public bath and the breakfast area was. As well it notified you if the 4 coin laundry machines were being used and how much time is left on each. Great hotel. Close to the subway."

"- Was 20 min walk from kyoto station - Could walk to lots of places which was nice - Room was a good size, pretty comfy beds. - Can’t use onsen if you have tattoos which I was pretty sad about. I know how most onsens are with tattoos in Japan but I thought a hotel might be more open since it’s for travellers. I didn’t let this affect my rating, since it’s common, but I wanted to point it out to others just in case they were wondering. - Had my favourite pjs of all the hotels we stayed in. -...

"I stayed here for one night witha group of friends and was really impressed with how clean the place was. The only thing I wished for was individual locks for each bed, in addition to the safe, to secure luggage stored under the bed. Other than that, the place was great—clean and in a good area."
