"First off, this is an inn not a hotel. The room was very clean. If you think you will utilize the kitchen, bring your own pots and pans. The nonstick from their pots/pans were pealing off when we’re trying to boil the water. If you tell them about the condition, they’d bring a new set of the same cheap cookware. Utensils, bowls were plastic. The tv connection was having issues that kept re-connecting. Everything else was good. The beds were comfortable. The surrounding was quiet. "

"Basic but clean, simple budget motel style property right across street from beach by a block. If you don’t plan in staying in your room and just need a basic clean room to crash this place works great. "

"It was the perfect place for my daughter and I while we were in town to visit UCSB. Easy walk to the beach. Beautiful bike path and close to an ocean front restaurant. Cute little park for kids and restrooms at the beach. "

"The location is excellent and the second floor patio has a great view. This old hotel has some beautiful details like tile floors and nice tile work in the bathroom. However, it’s clear they are relying on the location to sell the place and not bothering much with upkeep and service. Check-in was frustrating.
