"Great stay at Avila Lighthouse Suites. It was a first time staying in the area. Beautiful views and beach without being overly crowded, and close to Pismo and downtown San Luis Obispo. Free Breakfast was a pleasant surprise and was really great, freshly cut fruit, hot items, and the other basic continental fare. Overall we would stay here again!"

"We had a lovely time. The breakfast was great with options to choose and the view is wonderful! The room was fine for our family. The only thing that would of made it outstanding is an elevator to the Sun deck. Be prepared to walk up the stairs for breakfast 🙂"

"The exterior is a bit run down, but the room was clean, in good shape, and looked like it may have been renovated not long ago. The staff was very nice and helpful. It's on Highway 1 and close to downtown SLO. "

"Nice property, but we wish the hotel would have contacted us to let us know that the pool and jacuzzi were not operational so that we could have changed our reservation. Apparently there was a leak so they had closed it recently, but being notified would have been helpful."
