"Pros: Excellent room, family room that we booked was clean, quite spacious and had generous amount of tea/ coffee and biscuits for the family with plenty of towels. "A 1 night stay for work reasons. The pub and food are excellent with a good selection at a reasonable price. My room was comfortable but very cold due to the old leaking sash windows. All in all for the price it's ok for a 1 night stay. "

"From the moment we stepped through the door to one of the nicest welcomes we have had at a hotel to the moment we left was just perfect. Our room, ‘The Study’ was superb, and so clean and comfortable, and the decor and design is beautiful. Welcome tray with great selection of teas and cafetière for coffee. We slept so well. "Susan our host was warm and welcoming, the property was beautiful and our room was really nice. The breakfast was gorgeous! We come to Ibstock to visit our friends for their Christmas party every year and this was the first time we'd chosen to find somewhere else to stay. Needless to say, we'll be making a stay at The Post House part of our annual tradition and we're looking forward to staying again next year!"
