Pros- Easy check in, complimentary parking, bottled water in rooms with tea/coffee & biscuits easy access to resorts world, toiletries, shampoo, conditioner, soap & body lotion, check in staff friendly Cons- rooms and furniture very tired, beds small and uncomfortable, (saggy in the middle) very noisy corridors until after midnight, fan in bathroom didn’t work, not enough towels for all guests, some lights didn’t work, bar prices very high at nearly £10 for a glass of wine ( cheapest) Ok for one night stay due to close proximity to the venue

Excellent weekend stay. All staff were incredibly friendly and rooms were clean and comfortable. Reception organised free drink for mums birthday which was greatly appreciated at the end of a busy day. There was also plenty of parking and lovely breakfast.

Great hotel, went to a concert at Bp live and our was a 3 minute walk. Next door to loads of restaurants and plenty to do. Only moan, was how long the food took to be served in their restaurant for evening meal.

Convenient and comfortable place to stay for our visit to The Running Show at the NEC. The hotel has everything you need, as do the rooms. Found the staff to be helpful too. Possibly the only thing I'd like to see improved is that the breakfast options for non-mainstream diets (vegan, gluten free) are a bit ordinary. You won't starve but there's nothing all that appealing either.

Nice hotel within walking distance of the NEC. Lots of restaurants nearby and lovely view of the lake. Also nice bar area.

The location was convenient. The NEC is about a 10 minute walk. The building next door has plenty of dinning options. The hotel lobby is a nice quiet place to sit during the day and a great place to get food if you don't feel like going out. The room was functional but definitely could use a refresh. The carpet and couch had clearly seen better days. The furniture was also pretty worn out. There was a fan in the bathroom that seemed to be dying and I couldn't figure out how to turn it off. The bed was decent and I appreciated the nice big TV with a good selection of channels.

Brilliant hotel.
Molly was amazing when we checked in. She was extremely helpful and suggested places for us to go as no one in our party is from Birmingham. She was welcoming and friendly and is an asset to the hotel. All 4 of us were in one room and there was plenty of space. The room was clean. Great place to stay!
