"This is a gem. We stayed on a Sunday evening having had a long day in Birmingham (40 mins north). It was quiet but beautiful and the staff were lovely. The main building is i assume an old stately home and our room was in ond of a few new wings. The room itself was spacious and spotless. We had a grest night's sleep and in the morning the shower was great. Breakfast was also plentiful and delicious. To top it off it was incredible value."

"We really enjoyed our stay, room was clean and large enough for three with a lovely view over the golf course and a little table and chairs to sit outside. The pool was warm ! "Easy to find with Sat Nav. Plenty of on site secure parking. Less than 5 minute walk to other eating or drinking establishments although we ate at the hotel and the food and drink prices were very reasonable. Staff very helpful. Room very clean and tidy. Will definitely stay at this hotel again in the future. Highly recommended "

"The reviews are a little mixed for this hotel, but thought to still give it a go. Yes it's a little older hotel, not a brand new development. However the building and grounds are well maintained and inside is clean and tidy. Polite welcome on reception and the room was comfy, clean and tidy. Well appointed bathroom and good shower pressure. Couldn't really asked for anything else and will return if in the area on business. Cannot comment on food as didn't eat there "
