"We enjoyed staying at Prince’s Gate Hotel. The on-site hot springs with three pools in the hotel garden were the best treat. We had a one-bedroom apartment for the two of us, which felt quite spacious, although the kitchen facility was bare minimum. The hotel is within walking distance of downtown Rotorua, with ample dining choices. "Room was nice and big. Shelves under bathroom sink need a thorough clean and behind the radiator was quite dusty (I’m asthmatic) but other than that the room was great. The water gets really really hot in the shower but I imagine that the water in the hot springs heats the showers so just something to be aware of especially if you have a baby or young child with you."
