"This hotel is amazingly spacious. While other hotels are squeezed into small space, this one is completely: huge rooms, huge halls huge dinning areas. It is also clean, safe and functional. This is not our first visit, and we will visit it again."

"The hotel facilities were nice. The private hot tub on the patio was amazing. We were so happy we chose the room we did. Our mini fridge didn't work and when we told the employee at the front desk, he actually just shrugged his shoulders and didn't respond. We mentioned we had purchased food items because we expected to have the fridge. And he didn't respond. So our food spoiled and our plans for having a few things in our room were ruined. "We enjoyed staying at Prince’s Gate Hotel. The on-site hot springs with three pools in the hotel garden were the best treat. We had a one-bedroom apartment for the two of us, which felt quite spacious, although the kitchen facility was bare minimum. The hotel is within walking distance of downtown Rotorua, with ample dining choices. "We stayed here for one night on our road trip. Although we loved the hotel, location and room, the parking charges of $59 a night seemed very excessive. This is Valet Parking only. Yes, you do have the option to park on the local roads, but as this is only free between 5pm and 9am, you would need to pop out early and pay if checking out later as we were. "This was a nice hotel. Our room had a view of the lake and we could see the seaplanes landing. It was a short walk to Eat Street for restaurants. It has reciprocity with Novotel next door that has hot pools, a jacuzzi and a pool. The room and breakfast were good."
