"We received a warm welcome from Jason upon arrival who was friendly and provided useful information. We had booked a Superior Lake View room which was on the 3rd floor. The hotel is currently undergoing a refit but unfortunately our room had not yet received a rejuvenation and was quite dated, tired and definitely not superior. Lodge is a little dated but it’s huge with plenty of activities from a pool, snooker/pool table, gym, gaming devices, tennis courts and extensive grounds. Location is handy to main highways, some of the key attractions and only 20 mins into central Rotorua. Would definitely stay here again."
