"It exceeded our expectations in all areas."

"Biggest complaint is that we weren’t there longer. The room had a couple of those “extras” like converters and power strips on each side of the bed that really make a difference. But this place stood out because of the breakfast. I was worried because I’m kind of picky, but I was worried that I ate them out of house and home. The fruit, the breads, the cheese, all of it. Seriously, days of happy memories of that breakfast! "

"We booked this accommodation two days prior to arrival. We were running late as we stopped at the thermal pools and John called to check up on us. The check in was efficient and our room (#3) was excellent. Although we spend on one night there, it was a very comfortable stay. The location is great and we were able to enjoy the drone show and night market. Highly recommend this place."

"French Country House is a rare find. We absolutely loved everything about it. Romantic, charming rural setting with stunning views of the coast and Mount Manganui. The ambience is wonderful. You feel like you are living in your own little French chateau surrounded by stunning decor. It’s définitely a million miles away from a standard corporate hotel. "The views from the common area were beautiful. However, our room was tiny, no space to move about in at all. The breakfast provided was good but the spread somewhat stingy. You had to ask for that second cup of coffee for example, and the cold cuts and cheeses platter looked meager."
