"Set in lovely quiet gardens with an avocado orchard you can walk around. The room was spacious spacious and very clean. Rupert even got a desk and chair for me to work on my laptop. Lovely place and hosts would love to come back. "

"We enjoyed our recent stay at the property which had all we needed (and more).It's in a great location just a short drive to Pukehina Beach but off the main road enough to have been very peaceful.Being surrounded by nature was very relaxing and the sun room was a great spot to have dinner and look at the view."

"The Shed Retreat is an ideal getaway location for a Rotorua visit. It's only 20 minutes from the city centre but feels miles away given its rural locale. Great interior decor, a super-comfy bed and of course the cedar spa pool with its view is outstanding. Can't recommend it highly enough."

The place was filthy with spider webs and dust, and it took us two hours to clean it enough to sleep. "This 2 day get away was a friends away. So needed to get away from the hustle and bustle and demands of every day life. It was a place of zen, with the accomodation looking out to the estuary, absolute bliss, with the water, the birds and just re:connecting to nature.
