"Had a brilliant stay here. Girls in reception are so helpful and want to do as much as they can for you. Though I think one was a bit shocked that on our 25th wedding anniversary we had booked the Honeymoon Suite!! Great room with a spa right in the room! Bathroom was HUGE!! Brilliant and comfy bed. We had a room upstairs so be aware of you have heavy luggage. There was an on-site beautician available to book. Convenient location. Easy to find. Would recommend and happily stay here again. "

Lodge is a little dated but it’s huge with plenty of activities from a pool, snooker/pool table, gym, gaming devices, tennis courts and extensive grounds. Location is handy to main highways, some of the key attractions and only 20 mins into central Rotorua. Would definitely stay here again."

"The resort is in a great location near the water and walkable to a McDonalds. The restaurant is quite pricey. We ordered pizza and ate in the pub area which was empty. Our room was absolutely filthy, with dead bugs on the night stand and smears on the ceilings and walls. The glass shelving hadn't been cleaned in ages. The bathroom was dank and smelled of mould. "Spectacular location overlooking the lake. Quiet and peaceful. The conservatory was lovely to relax with a cuppa overlooking the gardens. Comfortable bed, lovely deep soaking bath. Great breakfast overlooking the black swans in the lake. Wish we had longer than one night. Fantastic service. CJ gave an excellent recommendation to go soak in a local hot waterfall which was a fantastic experience! "
