"Hotel is older but they seem to be working to update it. Shower drain didn't keep up so end of your shower had standing water. Every single hotel staff member that we encountered were extremely friendly and helpful. The location is amazing! We had a marina view with a balcony. I would definitely recommend that over a city view room. The breakfast buffet had wonderful food and had different offerings from day to day. This was our second time at this hotel and i would definitely stay again. "

"This hotel is a great homebase especially if you do not have a car, yet like to explore. It’s on the edge of the plaza, walkable to every little calle, shop, and restaurant in San Jose. Right away the staff makes you comfortable; Christian remembered my name when I returned days later to listen to music after the art walk.
