Although the place offers many dining options, only two were good, the Mexican Restaurant and the bar next to the beach. It is a narrow beach, and you are constantly interrupted by people selling all kinds of things. The beach area is divided in two zones located next to each other, both offer food and drink services but one has free lounge chairs and the other cost 40.00 dollars per lounge chair. I did not find any difference besides the price. Ask for room 431, the view is great.

We thought we were staying at a different property based on pictures. The food was just ok, sometimes not good at all. The room was not great. It is old and the beds were uncomfortable. We tried to switch to their other hotel and they would not let us.

We traveled over the Thanksgiving weekend, with two small children. Pros: excellent service, the breakfast/brunch was amazing, the beach is so conveniently located, our room with a little kitchenette was super helpful for us. Yes yes. Areas of improvement: properties fairly old, and the signs of age is definitely showing. Unless it gets a huge facelift, I do not see how this can be fixed. There are not many restaurants on site. Instead, the neighboring property which is walkable has a couple of more But many of them require reservations. They do have a sister property which is 20 minutes away by their shuttle , but that does not have beach access, the restaurants there as wellrequire reservations. Overall, a good experience, but I have stayed at better places, so I mean, like not return.

Well the good things first. The staff were amazing, polite and very attentive to our every need. We ate at the buffet every night and the staff working there were wonderful. The room was called a luxury suite. I would cut out the luxury part and just call it a suite. It was very clean though and great view of the ocean. Beds were hard but comfortable, pillows ok. But the couch is a pullout that we didn’t try but to sit on was terrible. So forget sitting in the living room. They did have table and chairs which we used instead. The place is not sound proof at all, having tile floors u can hear every chair being moved above you, someone walking in shoes so loud. We had people above us moving chairs around until 2 in the morning. Entertainment was good. The food was great, good selection of fresh vegetables and fruit. Two things that were so annoying were the vendors on the beach. These vendors are relentless, they are right at the bottom of the stairs to the beach about 12 feet behind a rope and they make a line so you have to go through it to get to the beach and they start harassing you and do not stop the whole time u r trying to read and enjoy the ocean. Back and forth at least 20 of them calling to you all day from 8am until around 5pm. Non stop. Will not return to this resort because of that. Go to Sunset. Also the 1.86 charge from the government per day on there was 4.16 a day. They said it went up and they haven’t changed the website. Not right. That’s it.

The property itself is definitely old and in need of updates. The location is fantastic and we liked leaving the resort and you were right in the city. Food was decent (food and food options were much better at the Sunset so we went there for most dinners). Drinks were good.

The property itself looks good with beautiful views and the beach easily accessible. However there was an annoying noise in the room which made sleep difficult the first night. Maintenance fixed the issue for the second night, but by the time we had to check out we could hear the noise again.

The property itself was absolutely beautiful, the view was amazing from our room. The hotel location was perfect, it was was right in the bay so you could actually go in and swim in the ocean and walk on the beach, we had lots of beautiful boats docked in the bay that were lit up at night, it was beautiful! The food, however, could’ve been better and the drinks never tasted right- whether they were mixed drinks or blended drinks, they just never tasted good. The piña coladas tasted like chalk.

The floors were filthy, the freezer didn’t work, the linens were stained. Everyone was great Except Alma at the pool. Never ever have we encountered a more rude person. She was rude to us and all the other staff.
