"Our second time this year at the property. As a family unit with young kids it’s great for everyone! Although what I really didn’t like is all the smoking and vaping everywhere we went. Even though there were smoking areas and signs saying no smoking people weren’t respectful and nobody enforced the rules it was disappointing. Adults were smoking in the pools even! And one of our last nights there at la fondue a few tables over a man was consistently vaping at his dinner table with zero respect...

"We had a wonderful stay. It's not a 5 star resort and we knew that when we booked it. The food was ok and there were a few issues with the water flow in the sink and shower in our room, but we made it work. The mini golf was pretty much unusable as it was flooded. But the A/C worked good in our room and the friendliness of the staff made up for any small issues we encountered. The beach and snorkeling was amazing. It was a nice quiet stay without a party crowd and always plenty of beach chairs....

"This hotel is a hidden gem by the beach. The staff is always attentive to your needs and deserve our praises. The food and drink options were always top quality. Rooms and cabins are clean and well equipped. Cabins are a bit more rustic, but each is independent and provide a sense of being alone in paradise. I would highly recommend this hotel for stays in Playa del Carmen and will return in the future. "

"Aventuras Club had experienced some recent storms going thru like many places and had lost some power. That power loss took out the elevator and pool pump. So needless to say, thru no fault of their own, we had to walk up stairs to the third floor, and pool was not especially clear during our stay. Plus we were originally to stay at the Lagoon building but they moved us to the marina building. There were some communication problems, so reason for 4 stars over 5. However, overall we enjoyed...

"Beautiful balcony to relax on and enjoy the fabulous view. Everything we needed was there, the lagoon is great for kayaking and swimming, and the owner was a delight. We highly recommend this unit and would definitely go back. We enjoyed outings to nearby Yal Ku for snorkeling and Xpu Ha beach where the locals go. A day trip to the ruins and cenotes at Coba was worth the journey, and the shrimp tacos at Kaab Hotel in Coba were the best we've ever had."
