"I recently stayed three nights at Parkview Scottsdale Resort. It is an older building, but the lobby and rooms seem to have been updated. The room was clean and spacious, with a large TV, a small fridge, a desk, and plenty of lighting. Pros: Friendly staff, great location (close to the 101, dining, bars, grocery stores, and entertainment), across the street from a large park with a lake. "We have stayed several times at The Clarendon we have actually stayed in the same suite. This time they added a queen to the sitting area and it made the suite seem awkward. The door needs to be more secured as well. We figured it would have been repaired by now. Nevertheless its a chill place "

"Front Desk Staff ,Jeffery, was very helpful and pleasant. Location is great with a large park across the street. Price for Scottsdale was wonderful. However, the room itself: couch had stains and the shower wasn't operating properly. The stains were questionable so we turn the cushions upside down and it looked much better. The shower plumbing needs some work as more water seems to come out the bath spout than out the shower head. "

"Stayed here many times before. This time the front desk clerk was rude and I told her I didn't appreciate it. The tv and phone didn't work, maintenance never showed,bugs and clump of dark hair in the bathroom (We both have white hair), pool not open, and ice machine didn't work. Won't be staying here again. I heard it's under new management and it's a shame."
