"My room, 101, was cute & clean. The bed and pillows were comfy. Shower pressure was good, and water stayed hot. Heat (wall thermostat) kept me warm and was very quiet. Office is not staffed regular hours, but owner responds to the ring doorbell quickly. They also answer emails quickly. There are 2nd floor rooms, so potential for overhead noise, but there was no one above me. There are train whistles, but I love that! Walking distance to "downtown" and grocery store. Refrigerator, microwave,...

"The place is charming - so much better than staying at a chain hotel. We were on the 2nd floor and the steps were a bit steep (but, we are in our late 70’s!), but the room was wonderful with coffee, tea and snacks. My only complaint is that there is a lot of light pollution and I couldn’t seem to get the drapes closed. Other than that — I’d highly recommend this place."
