"Seriously a great place. We loved it and the surrounding landscape. I believe the listing said it had internet speeds of 100mbit but that wasn't necessarily the case. Barely 8mb down 500kb up, but it was consistent that we were able to stream shows without any problem and generally speaking, it worked well."

"We had a great stay in Lyle Canyon. The house is eclectic and far out, down a dirt road, by national Forest property. Due to the seclusion, the internet/wi-fi was occasionally spotty (but adequate)so keep that in mind if you plan on remote work . The host was very responsive to questions. The yard is fenced and was great for our dogs. We ate in most nights as it is a long way into town. Visit the local meat market in town."

"Nicely appointed Ranch House on a spacious property with plenty of patio space and large front and back yards to stretch out and enjoy games with the family. Roomy kitchen perfect for cooking for a large family. Country feel with an off the beaten path location a just couple of miles and short drive from town."

"We had a lovely stay at the Donkey house. Donkey house is a nicely re-done older Arizona ranch home sitting on a big piece of land in a very quiet area. Close to great hiking and restaurants but off the beaten path. Perfect for what we were looking for, Donkeys were like big dogs that didn't bark, just hanging around in their coral area playing or lying in the sun. Great break from Chicago winter."

"The owners were very careful to tell us that the place was rustic. Only solar power and gas heating and cooking. We were there for our 13 year old granddaughter to hunt for a buck. Saw many deer, but never a buck! It is a very old house and quite interesting. If you can't stand bugs, this is not the place for you. The owners are always close by and available if any problems arise. "

"We had a wonderful experience at the Animal Sanctuary. The guest house is adorable and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the animals on site. The property owner is a dedicated host and everyone would love to find more time to visit the property again! Highly Recommend!"

"The acorn acres farmhouse is a wonderful place to stay! The pictures do not do it justice. The farmhouse was exceptionally clean and well kept. It's beautifuly put together with a wonderful farmhouse feel. From the clean linens, down pillows, comfortable bed and couch, relaxing kitchen and incredibly peaceful reading room, you will love this place! We stayed for a week and watched deer walk thru the property every evening. It was quiet and peaceful with a beautiful view of the national forest...
