"We really liked that it was a 5 minute walk to the Grand Canyon look out on the South Rim. Great walking trails and look out points. Clean, great location, nice lodge with food court and pub/restaurant."

"The hotel stay was OK. Rooms a bit dark and dated. Needs new carpet in bedroom. Several long black hairs on bathroom floor. Hand held sprayer in shower awkward to use, too low. Shower faucet and fixtures clunky. All personnel were great. David, the concierge, was excellent!"

In one of our rooms, there was a problem with a blocked toilet, which someone came to clear (more than once). When checking out, I was expecting an apology, but I faced an indignant staff member who just said "we know".
