"The house was clean and Rumiro was very helpful. We needed a new place ASAP to stay and he was flexible to help us. The only thing I would note if you plan to cook is there aren’t any basic cooking supplies (salt/pepper, spices, oil, etc) which would have been helpful. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely come to stay again! "

"The house was amazing, beautiful view, pool was too cold to swim in but a nice pool area. Loved the screen rooms. Beds were comfortable and plenty of room for all to enjoy. Location to stores was convenient. There is ample parking."

"My wife and I were on our honeymoon and we had to evacuate Cape Coral due to hurricane Milton. The caboose was an incredible escape from the storm! Jerry the property owner was very gracious and accommodating given the circumstances. If we’re ever in need of a place in Lake Placid, we’ll consider the caboose! Thanks again Jerry! "

"We were a group of 6 adults evacuating the west coast of Florida due to hurricane Milton. We had a brief stay but our time there was a sanctuary from the storm. The home was spotlessly clean, comfortable and well equipped. Our host, Maria, was very kind and helpful. I would highly recommend this home if you visit the beautiful Lake Placid area!"
