Here for a race, Michael is the best host! The house was very clean, and had everything we needed!! We stay at a lot of rentals all over the US and this is by far the best! We will be returning just to vacation here!

Fun for the whole family
My kids absolutely loved this house! It’s like we had our own private beach for the weekend with calm water they could stand and play in. The house was beautifully decorated and the master bedroom was so comfortable! Can’t wait to go back!

Michael’s home accommodated our group quite comfortably, where everyone could have their own space with great shared space both inside and outside. Fully equipped kitchen accommodated all our cooking needs. The lake is pristine (did not see any alligators 😊)! Thank you for a place to enjoy some time with family!

Weekend Getaway
We had such a wonderful weekend! The property was absolutely beautiful everything was available for us there and we definitely would like to go back again. Anytime I had a question I reached right out to the owners and they got back to me immediately. We had a lovely experience!

Magnolia on the Lake
The facility is in a great location, plenty of room to move about with multiple families and personalities. Outside on the porch was covered in tiny flying bugs but that is Florida. It is a great place, owners were more than accommodating and will definitely pass the word along and hopefully be able to stay again one day.

There was a LOT of insects on the outside of the house. I'm the morning my car would be covered in them. The house was fantastic. I would stay here again if there were not soo many insects. Not the owners fault. They were great. Had one issue and they came out that day to fix it. Really responsive.

Beautiful Lake House
Mike was a great host and the house was awesesome. We were warmly welcomed by some snacks (much needed after a couple hour drive) and ingredients for smores (which we took advantage of). We brought our boat with us and it was a great experience all around. House was great and plenty big for our family of 6. The property was well maintained and the kids loved spending time playing on the beach and dock. The hot tub was a great added bonus. All around great experience and would highly recommend.

Perfect House on Lake Clay
We had a great stay during a portion of the week before Christmas. The house was perfect for our group in coupling this rental with the house directly next door to accommodate our group of 17. Communication was very easy, directly with the owner, instruction were easy to follow, and check out was a breeze! The owner even left us a basket of s’mores to roast over the fire, which was amazing. The house set was very clean and perfect for our group allowing large gathering area with the kitchen and family room. The outside amenities were perfect and the kids enjoyed fishing from the dock. If you are looking for a place in Lake Placid, this is your place!!

Great Lake House
From the beginning of the "finding a house" process the owners were very responsive and informative. This house was perfect for our family! There was plenty of room for the 7 of us. Super clean and cutely decorated! It was also very easy to get to and close to grocery stores. We fished from the dock(and caught fish) and rented a pontoon boat (which the company delivered to our dock and picked it back up when we were finished!). Enjoyed the beach area, put our toes in the sand, grilled, and relaxed! Michael was only a text away and responded immediately. We would highly recommend this property! Thank you Michael and Gretchen!

Not Thoroughly Cleaned
The Pro’s of this house - the upstairs family area and dining area were big and comfortable. The view out the back of the lake was very nice with a beautiful view of the sunset. The bedrooms were clean and comfortable. We were disappointed with the cleanliness of several areas in the house and on the porches. When we opened the silverware drawer we found a food stained cloth on top of some of the items plus several plates in the cupboard had food on them. After seeing this we washed every item we were going to use and kept them on the counter so we knew which ones were clean. The upper and lower porches were both covered with dust and dirt so we had to clean all the tables and chairs plus sweep all of the concrete areas plus many of the chairs we weren’t comfortable sitting on since they still looked dirty. There were some type of small pieces of something on the downstairs carpet that we picked up and threw away. The front porch not cleaned before our stay either. Several lamps did not work. It appeared to us that the focus of the housecleaning staff was the bedrooms and bathrooms and that was it. We also felt that the stairs to the upstairs were dangerous because there is no handrail. In addition there appeared to be a leak in the downstairs bathroom that was deteriorating the lower step of the stairs. We would not stay there again.

My family and I had an amazing stay at the lake house. The sunsets are breathtaking and neighborhood is peaceful. Micheal is an excellent host even before our stay started he was willing to answer all of my annoying questions lol. One tip however, bring bug spray. At no fault of the host the lake gives off a lot of bugs.
