Home is nicely furnished and has a large covered patio area. The patio has a wet bar and plenty of seating over looking the solar heated salt water pool and canal. There is Cable TV, Wireless internet and wireless printer/scanner. Sleeps 10, 8 in beds 2 more on inflatable mattresses. Master bedroom has king bed and master bath has jetted tub and shower. There is another full bath and three other bedrooms, one with a king the second has a queen and the other has 2 twin beds. Driveway has room to park your boat trailer with plenty of room left for your vehicle. 4 vehicle limit. Please park in the garage or driveway. Do not park in front of neighbors yards. Absolutely no parties/events.

Best of the Best
I have had good and bad experiences renting vacation homes for our family trips, this one was absolutely the BEST rental I have ever had!! The house was spotless, quiet, safe, and so comfortable it was honestly like home away from home. The kitchen had everything you would need and then some, the beds were comfortable and warm. The kids loved the pool, and I could have just sat on the back patio for a full day gazing out at the pool and canals. Could not have asked for a better lace to stay.

Winter get-away
We have stayed at this property before and really enjoy all that it has to offer. It is always very clean, supplied with lots of extras, and has very responsive and kind ownership. We had a great time at this home. It is immaculately clean and is always inviting and relaxing. The owner is super responsive and always so easy to work with. Clean & Comfortable
This is our second stay at this clean and comfortable home. The wildlife in the canal was fascinating and kept us guessing “what made that night time sound” for hours. Home is in a convenient neighborhood and has great privacy. We enjoyed the back yard pool for hours.

Relax woooo saaaaa
This was our second time staying at Dans home. Other owners on VRBO can learn a lesson from Dan. He goes way above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable and memorable! If you’re looking for a vacation to just RELAX and enjoy family time, then look no further! Our dogs loved the fenced in yard! It’s truly a great place to be! We will be back next year for sure.

The best house on the lake!
We have stayed at this same Lake house for 5 years now, it's the very best in my opinion. It's clean, spacious, has everything you need and more. Having the huge pool is so nice because you can swim safely and cleanly day or night or when it's raining and going out on the boat is not an option. Bonnie (Property Manager) and Dan (owner) are amazing, easy to communicate with and are always available when needed. We will continue to stay here yearly as long as we can.

Fourth Year in a Row.
This was our 4th year in a row. Staying at Dans lake house is becoming a family tradition. Just like the previous 3 years, year 4 was just as great. This home is the perfect lake house. Heaven on earth........
This noteworthy property is located 2 canals off breathtaking Lake June. The house is fully equipt with everything one would need. Dan & Bonnie are such grand hosts. All comforts of home are included, plus more. Neighborhood is delightful as well. Minutes to everything in Lake Placid, truly a perfect experience. Such a lovely way to spend my month of July each year........countdown is on for July of 2023 already......

Where in the heck is Lake Placid, FL?!
We had a nice time in Lake Placid and exploring the area around it. The house was nice and roomy enough for our group of 8. The kids loved the pool! This time of year (December) is was more of a polar plunge but the kids didn’t mind. I think the “heated” pool is a bit of a stretch. Also the listing notes a hot tub but there isn’t one. Otherwise, we were very happy with the accommodation of the place. We grilled a couple of nights and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed including spices and condiments that you don’t always think to buy at the store. We loved sitting out by the pool on the morning and evening watching the birds settle in the tress at dusk. Visiting this part of FL is no Disney vacation but we prefer it that way and enjoyed spending time amongst the natural beauty of the area. We didn’t bring a boat with us but did go kayaking in the Kissimmee River one day which was very lovely.

Paradise Found
If I could give this 100 stars, I would do so. The home is on a quiet cul-de-sac, and a perfect location on the canal. If you are boating or fishing, the lake is just 2 short blocks away and the fishing is great. We caught plenty of bass while here. The boat house was perfect to keep our boat out of the weather. The home is clean, well-stocked, and just makes you feel like you came home. We spent a lot of time in the pool which also was very clean and well kept (bonus pool noodles and toys!). Communication by the owner is exemplary! Quick responses to every question or concern. Lake Placid town is so cute with all the shops and murals! Be sure to go into the Chamber of Commerce and see the mural gallery with short video on all of the murals in town, and buy the book. Everything is very close by and convenient. We hope to come back to Lake Placid, and if so, this will be the place.

Wonderful family retreat
This was my second time visiting this relaxing, welcoming, and uber clean home. This time, I brought my children and grandchildren along and we all had a wonderful stay. We loved fishing off the dock, watching the egrets fly in at dusk, and the quiet privacy of the cul de sac location and screened in saltwater pool. Items worth noting that gave it that extra special touch: Pantry and fridge fully stocked with those necessities that are otherwise expensive to buy on vacation (Coffee, creamer, ziploc baggies, foil, condiments, oils, spices, etc) High quality bed sheets, bath towels, and beach towels-a nice luxurious touch Bathrooms stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, soap Laundry room with great big washer and dryer and stocked laundry soap-especially great when you have kiddos swimming in the pool all day Alexa and speakers for pool outside-grandkids loved telling Alexa to turn on and off the lights the light the house The house was clean, warmly decorated, and spacious. The owner was a pleasure to work with and very responsive when we messaged a few questions. We will most definitely be back!

Spectacular! You won’t be disappointed!
The photos and description of the amenities of this home are very accurate. The homeowner, Dan, was very courteous and he clearly pays attention to detail to ensure you enjoy your stay. It is the perfect place for a relaxing get-a-way. I had a wonderful time. I loved sitting on the Lanai and just looking at the view of the pool and canal. The pool was great, temps ranged from 86-90.... and it’s saltwater, no harsh chemicals on me or emitted into the environment! During the day you can find turtles sunbathing on a log in the canal and in the evening there is a flock of white birds (not sure what kind, maybe Egrets) that nest in the trees along the canal overnight. They look as if they almost glow against the darkness. The interior of the home is immaculate. I loved that the living room wall opened up to the Lanai. Large bedrooms with very comfortable beds! The linens in the bedrooms and bathrooms are top notch! The kitchen had all I needed to prepare meals inside or on the grill. There were also condiments, seasonings, a few pantry items and coffee/sugar/creamer available for use as well. No need to even get up if I wanted to listen to some music, to turn the lights/fans on/off, or the air turned up or down... Alexa did it all for me... oh and she locks the front door too. There’s a convenience store/gas station and an excellent Mexican restaurant less than a mile away. Casa Tequila Restaurant and Bar was yummy including the Frozen Strawberry daquiris. Of course there is a Ninja blender to make them at the house too! I will definitely be back... and I recommend you come check this place out! It’s perfect for my next girls trip, family vacation or even another relax and recharge get-a-way!

Beautiful Placid Lakes...again
Can't say enough good things about this property and its owner. This is our second time coming, this time for 2 weeks. The quiet is one thing, and the fishing is another, but the home is perfect. It has everything you need to have all the comforts of home, and the view is awesome. We brought our boat and spent a lot of time on Lake June, but also visited Lake Istokpoga for part of a day. The community is lovely with all the murals, and the small town has a lot of things to visit and eateries. We loved that the community was so friendly also. Everything is close by, so trips to the food store were easy. The owner communicates quickly, and anytime you need anything or have issues, he addresses them immediately. We would love to make Lake Placid our home some day, but in the meantime, we will be visiting here again. Thank you to the owner for sharing your amazing home with us.
