This cozy country cottage located on my 40 acre ranch is the perfect place to recharge completely. When you enter my ranch the long driveway lined with a split rail fence take you over my wooden bridge and guide you to your sanctuary. You will be surrounded by Live Oaks as you sit and have coffee on the quaint front porch, or in the evening enjoy your wine and cocktails with the backdrop of the gorgeous setting sun. At night you can sit by the campfire and roast marshmallows with the provided sticks. I will be happy to start the fire for you. I don’t have horses, but their are cows grazing in the front pasture.
This rental also offers an impressive outdoor kitchen with a hammock, charcoal barbecue, stove, refrigerator, dart board and a big wooden table with a lazy Susan. This is a 1/1 with a king sized bed. It’s meant for two people but the couch does have two comfortable recliners and there is a twin sized blow up mattress available.
Both the outdoor kitchen and the cottage have a full set of dishes and cookware. I provide the coffee, water, and a limited amount of snacks. There are two televisions in the cottage as well as laundry facilities. The cottage seats two for dinner but the outdoor kitchen seats 10. There are board games and cards available if you want to have some good ole fashion fun.
I am a wildlife rehabber so don’t be surprised if Goldie Fawn comes to visit you. I mostly rescue raccoons, but you will not see them unless you want to meet them. My ranch home is located far from yours and we can’t see each other. You will have your privacy but I will be available to answer your questions.
Please view the photos as they speak for themselves. I have stalls available for an extra fee if you are traveling with horses. There is a pond by my house that has Tilapia, Catfish, Brim, and small Bass. You are welcome to fish, just give me a heads up.
I only allow small dogs to run free and I allow larger dogs on a leash. These restrictions are due to my rescue endeavors and the safety of my releases. I have two dogs. but I know they are good with the babies since they helped raise them. I look forward to speaking with you via text or in person. Come and enjoy “The King Ranch”!
