"This was one of the most beautiful hotels and areas we have ever stayed at. The staff was super kind, helpful, and fun. The dinner included with our reservation was top tier and the outside gardens were absolutely gorgeous. We spent most of our time walking around enjoying the garden in between dinner and the onsen. We can not wait to visit here again. "

"We stayed in their condo as a splurge for our honeymoon and VERY glad we did. Things close early in the area so we knew we wanted a great place to stay and relax. As a vacation hotel room, this space is amazing! I will say though, quality of what is within the room was a bit inconsistent with how luxe it appeared, for example: toilet paper was terrible, towels were super thin and rough, the laundry room included was actually super tiny under a staircase and a shock that they'd even want guests...

"We enjoyed a 1 night relaxing stay - the staff are very polite and friendly. Our 3 bed room was spacious with balcony which had table and chairs, the lakeside view was great though the clouds hid Mount Fuji from view :( Our bathtub had the same lovely view! The room had generous toiletries, tea, fresh coffee and pyjamas etc. The choice of breakfast options was good, it was aimed more at Asian than western visitors. The free evening wine and ice cream was a bonus! We didn’t try the public baths...

Only drawback is that to get food at night, it’s a bit of a walk down dark streets to reach the restaurant-heavy area - but the hotel does also offer onsite dinner. "Property is excellent, but area is a negative, is difficult to get there, GPS on expedia is way off by at least 1 kilometer, the property have no restaurant and all the area around, dies by 6PM, leaving you with the only option of 711, 800mts away which kind of close by 11PM i guess. Onsen is excellent. Room was excellent also."

"Lovely setting overlooking the lake. The room was large and airy with some traditional touches. It is very quiet in and around the hotel, convenient for the cable car and bus around the lake. Free drinks and snacks were an enjoyable treat as it was quite a walk to station. Wish we had stayed longer and made more use of the onsen"

"It was a nice and quite stay. It's in a great location too. We were not used the public restrooms but there was instructions so that made it easier. The staff was very nice and patient with us as we tried to commicate. The breakfast was amazing. Definitely a grat stay. "
