"We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were all helpful and kind. The food was delicious (be prepared for A LOT of food at breakfast and dinner) and we loved our in-room onsen . The hotel is showing its age with some visible wear and tear but it didn’t detract from the enjoyment of our stay. The location can’t be beat. I would definitely recommend staying here. "Fantastic Mount Fuji view"

"This location was beautiful. We had a room facing the mountain with a large window and patio. Staff were very nice and English was not a problem. Tattoos need to be covered for the hot spring. There are no sidewalks directly to the hotel but there are many food options within walking distance. Parking was available. There is 1 laundry machine so if you need it you will likely need to wait. "

"Booked this room for the private onsen and it was quite a lovely experience. We brought our luggage to them early in the morning and asked them to hold it until our check in so we could explore and after we checked in and made it to our room they sent someone to bring the luggage up. There was a breakfast buffet included with our room and it had a really nice variety of foods from western to Japanese. Staff spoke great English "

"The hotel exceeded our expectations. The breakfast buffet was specially great with so many selections. Parking was free and easy, and the property was next to the beautiful park which we enjoyed the peak season of cherry blossoms. We had a room with full view of beautiful Mt.Fuji. We would stay here again, probably during the autumn color season. "

"Wow. This was amazing. I don’t know where to even begin. The ryokan was absolutely beautiful. Yes, like some other reviews said, it was a bit dated but honestly I’m totally ok with that as it keeps the tradition alive. There were tatami floors throughout the ryokan. You are provided a yukata to go to the various onsens. It’s a smaller ryokan with perhaps around 21 rooms or so and that really keeps things intimate. The staff were so friendly and kind.
