"Our stay was very pleasant. The history and decor makes you feel like you are stepping back in time. Terry at reception and Marlena in the dining room were professional and personable. Kelly at the River House was also helpful. The room was as expected with a pretty view of the property and river. I would highly recommend a stay there."

"This isn’t a bad property to stay at, fair warning there is NO ELEVATOR so if you can’t handle stairs then the first floor is your only option. Also, if you can’t do an extra extra firm mattress this is definitely not the hotel for you. The room was very clean and so were the linens. The sinks are at hip level so it was not comfortable when getting ready. But it looks like it was recently remodeled so that was a plus. "

"This Fairfield Inn is very clean. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Bigger and better breakfast thsn I expected. They have a waffle machine which I used every day."
