The complementary breakfast was extraordinary with a full menu being offered. All the staff were wonderfully helpful. It was a fantastic experience and wish I could have stayed longer. "This property is such a wonderful alternative to the usual chain facilities. It's right on the river and set on a nicely landscaped property. We didn't opt for a room with a river view, but there were plenty of public spaces to enjoy the view. We loved the library. It was very quiet when we were there - few guests, between weddings. "We had an excellent stay at The Addison. The room was clean and charming. The place was meticulously maintained. Ron and Lisa were excellent hosts. They helped with restaurant suggestions as well as places to visit. Bicycles were provided for free and made for a great way to get around and see Fernandina. The happy hour made for a nice way to meet other guests. I absolutely would recommend The Addison as a great place to stay on Amelia Island. Absolutely worth it!"
