"Had a great vacation at Excellence El Carmen. Quick check in. Tons of good food options—and the drinks were good. We especially enjoyed margaritas from Joan at the lobby bar, and Belen and Yudeli made sure our favorite table was waiting for us every morning at The Kitchen Table. Many other great waiters and wait staff all the restaurants—wish I could remember more names. "

"Loved this resort for my solo birthday trip. The staff are Amazing! The food was great. This was my first resort trip but I think it is one the best just based of the friendliness of the staff. The room was clean and room service is quick as well as house keeping services. The beach was clean and not too may people trying to sell you things. The only thing that was unfortunate was the fact that the hot tubs did not get warm at all! The pool water was warmer than the hot tub lol. It was pretty windy in the evenings so that would have been a nice feature but all else was well !! I plan on coming back ! Shout out to Alexia (check in), Jimmy (butler/bell man) Orlando (adult side pool bartender), Marcelo (concierge) and Joana and Momo ! ( pro tour guides ) "

"Overall our stay was great. The staff is great. The cleanliness of the rooms is generally good and around the main areas. I would say the buildings have some hazardous in regards to general matenince. Our bathroom door was slowly falling off the hinges, tub plug was hard to use ect. Overall everything else was great. Side not they do not have Moscow mules which was super disappointing. "
