"Set in the countryside the building is very impressive. There is ample parking but due to the hotels popularity one may have to walk a fair distance to get to the entrance. The entrance hall with its staircase is very impressive. On checking in the friendly receptionist gives you a map so you can find your room. This is a vital document as the route to ones room is a maze. We were upgraded and had a suite on two floors. Arriving late we had dinner in the Atrium. The food was good. The next morning we had breakfast in the Restaurant which was excellent. Prior to leaving we walked round the grounds which every guest should see."

"Quiet rooms and friendly staff. My check-in was delayed by an hour but they compensated me for this inconvenience without me needing to negotiate. One thing to keep in mind is that parking fees are additional to your stay at £18 per 24 hours; limited parking on-site so you need to use the adjacent carparks. Although this is mentioned in the small print it caught out severest guests who made their feelings known to staff who handled it well. You should also note it is situated on roads where a clean air charge is enforced at £15 per day (if your vehicle is non-compliant) making the stay even more expensive. "

"Firstly the hotel is in the middle of the city and only a 15 minute walk from Bristol temple meads station which makes it perfectly situated. The hotel is in a gorgeous part of the city in the middle of old Bristol. The service was superb with book in really easy and friendly staff. Room was clean and I’d stay here again without a second thought."

"This was my third stay at Bristol Royal Marriott. Staff have been lovely on all occasions and my room clean and of a very good standard. There is a relaxed vibe to the hotel which is within easy reach of all of Bristols attractions and there is parking on site which i have used on my two previous visits. Reasonably priced. "

"We were happy from the beginning until the end! We felt very welcome and were very happy throughout our stay. Our little ones were sad that they couldn’t go to the pool but they really enjoyed the room. The suite was perfect for my parents, our kids, my husband and I to share. "

"Lovely hotel which was well located within the town centre. My partner and I didn't get to use the facilities as much as we had hoped, but we still had a great time, and the spa facilities were the highlight for my partner!. The only downside for me was the size of the gym, which I had hoped would have been be bigger, as everything was crammed on top of each other. Luckily, I was able to use the gym at a quiet time, but I can imagine it would be difficult to move around during peak times."
